I can understand why Andy can keep coming up with new stuff.

Stagnes
December 5, 2009
Laura, Rob and I hit St. Agnes today. It was pretty epic. I had the best over the falls of my life on this wave that might have been a head and a half. It kinda felt like a roller coaster ride. The locals were loving The Stub.
The crowds were dense and undensified at a later time.
How can anyone resist taking pictures of oil on the ground?
Rob owns this contraption: a legit miniature surfboard(fiberglass foam, stringer and all) with trucks and wheels mounted on them. It’s pretty sickkk.
San Elijo On A Bigger Day
September 15, 2009
Today Mitch and I met up with Kelly in Cardiff and surfed San Elijo. It was a lot bigger(some rolled in a bit overhead) than the last time we went out. It was super fun. Big crowd but people are way more mellow than the folks at San Onofre. Long crumbly waves. Can’t be beat.
Rays of light pierced through the gloomy morning.
It might look a bit closed out but the guys here know how to plow through sections.
34th Street Newport Beach
September 7, 2009
This week I surfed 34th Street for the first time. It’s a pretty chill place. Small little waves roll through and they are ace for longboarding on. Dylan and TJ introduced me to this spot. Mitch and I came back to the spot with Matt and we had a wicked time shredding ankle biters.
Skate Pics from The Seedling

I love Thomas Campbell’s films. He’s such a legend. Why not take pictures of of the skating scene in his first film, The Seedling, then “cross process” it?
In between frames.
Cardiff By The Sea
September 1, 2009
Today Mitch and I visited Kelly at her new dorm in San Diego. We were planning on surfing at San O on the way back but Mitch’s forgot his season pass so we ended up going to Cardiff. It’s probably the chillest beach of all time. I’m guessing the waves are super smooth there because there’s a lot of seaweed way out. The water temp was ridiculously hot. I definitely want to hit it up when a huge swell comes.

It’s a pretty long beach so there’s room for whatever it is you want to do.

Mitch set up the camcorder so we can get vids of us surfing. Didn’t work out too well.
Longboarding At Trestles
August 2, 2009
Today Mitch, Matt, Zack, Ian and I went to trestles. It was supposed to be pretty bad it but it was so fun. I had a go on Mitch’s wooden longboard and it was so fun. It truly proves that to have fun, you have to have the right equipment for the right conditions.
